The Gāyatrī mantra is a shloka dedicated to #Savitṛ, a Vedic Solar Deity  symbolized by the Sun’s clearing of half the solar disc past the eastern horizon at sunrise, so that half of the disk is visible. In  Sanskrit Savitṛ connotes “impeller, rouser, vivifier.”

 भूर्भुवः स्वः
तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्

Savitr is the personification of the early morning Sun, at its primordial sunrise, specifically when the Sun transits #Virgo (Kanya) #Chitra Lunar Mansion, home of #Spica , Star Of Success.

In her goddess form, Gayatri is known as the “Mother of the Vedas”, Light of the Eye of the Veda in India, the essence of the Upanishadic wisdom of enlightenment and the mother of the universe. Gayatri, the #Goddess (Shakti) in whom the Gayatri is written, #TheGreatMother, the prayer dedicated to Savitṛ is said to be the quintessence of the #Vedas. Gayatri esoteric meaning is that when resonated correctly and consistently it gives knowledge (realization) of the oneness of the Jivatman with the Paramatman—that is the individual soul with the supreme soul.#UnityConsciousness

“Chanting the GayatriMantra develops nada, a regular vibration in the channels of the subtle body, opening the various spiritual centers of your body. As a result, energy is awakened in the subtle body. Chanting the 24 seed syllables in the Gayatri Mantra generates a wondrous jhankar, a pulsating ringing so that a powerful energy flows from the chakras of the subtle body. This endows you with Yoga Shakti, the energy of union with the divine.” ~ chopra.com
